Twofold by Lisa Saeboe
Prior to this photograph, Gina and Lia had never met. I noticed their uncanny resemblance and both were kind enough to let me photograph them together. I was curious to see how they would interact with each other when they initially met on the shoot, and they both seemed rather quietly taken back by the similarities which they shared. Interestingly enough, as I was shooting I was only able to focus on the small features that made them distinctly different from one another. I believe this serves as a document for us to question our own individuality and the idea of self identity.
